Job summary

ArtiiFlex Manufacturing in Wooster, OH seeks a Controls Engineer to design, program, and integrate automation equipment and process control systems across the plant. You will lead projects from concept through CAD, PLC programming, installation, commissioning, and integration while supporting continuous improvement and safe operations.

You will troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, work with maintenance and production teams, and bring robotics and machine vision

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or 5+ years' experience.
• Strong knowledge of PLC systems and electrical schematics.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• AutoCAD electrical design and panel building experience.
• Familiar with 2D & 3D CAD and robotics applications.
• Robust communication skills, oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical prints, PLC logic, and electrical panels.
• Troubleshoot motors, pumps, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production to launch equipment.
• Lead projects from concept through CAD, PLC programming, installation, commissioning.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase uptime and efficiency.
• Familiar with Fanuc robotics and machine vision implementations.
