Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field; combination accepted.
• Minimum two years of manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.
• Two+ years of PLC programming and controls experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and support automation systems (PLCs, HMIs, robotics, controls) to improve safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and optimize processes to reduce downtime and improve lean manufacturing outcomes.
• Develop and modify PLC and operator interface programs using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley software or other approved platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and implement engineering changes.
• Manage engineering change activities (ECNs), update drawings/documents, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Recommend and execute capital equipment and process improvement projects aligned with business objectives.
• Support prototype development, CAD modeling/drawings (2D/3D), equipment modifications, and occasional production tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, MIOSHA, and applicable regulations.
