Job summary

CBES seeks an HVAC Controls Engineer to design Building Automation and EMS for commercial environments, focusing on energy performance and reliability. The role involves PLC/HMI programming, SEADA integration, and remote diagnostics to optimize systems across multiple sites.

You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients, develop technical documentation, and support upgrades to improve scalability and energy efficiency, travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming and controls integration.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and low-voltage control design.
• Experience with remote diagnostics via IP-based tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure Building Automation and Energy Management Systems (EMS) for HVAC, lighting, refrigeration, and leak detection.
• Develop process diagrams, SCADA block diagrams, control schematics, and technical documentation.
• Program and implement PLC/HMI control logic to manage I/O (temperature sensors, valves, relays).
• Monitor, test, and analyze system performance to identify issues and improve energy efficiency.
• Utilize IP-based remote access tools to diagnose and support building systems across multiple sites.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful system implementation.
