Northwind Technical Services, LLC seeks a Controls Engineer I to help develop automation software that drives real industrial processes. The role sits in the Project Engineering Department, focusing on PLC and HMI programming, testing, and commissioning.
You will travel to customer sites for startup and provide post-project support, while documenting work and training users. Strong teamwork and proactive problem solving are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.
Competenze
- BS Degree in Engineering - Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Chemical.
- Experience or familiarity with industrial automation and control systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and specifications.
Mansioni
- Develop Automation Software for industrial processes.
- Write PLC, HMI and computer programs, test and validate functions.
- Troubleshoot issues on existing systems and implement fixes.
- Travel to customer sites for startup and commissioning.
