Job summary

E2i seeks a systems integrator engineer to design, implement, and test automation for process and manufacturing systems in pharmaceutical and other industries. You will lead PLC, HMI, and SCADA projects, and provide electrical hardware support on client sites in Indiana or Lebanon locations.

The role emphasizes building client relationships, solving complex problems, and maintaining 80% billable work with some travel. A BS in engineering and 1–3 years of automation experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related engineering field.
• 1-3 years of experience in process control and automation.
• 1-3 years of experience in programming/developing/configuring PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems (Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, DeltaV, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus).
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
• Ability to address on-call requests as needed.

• Designing, implementing, and supporting electrical hardware systems.
• Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation.
• Investigating and solving complex problems.
• Demonstrating solid rapport with clients, peers, and supervisors.
• Addressing on-call requests as needed.
• Being a self-starter who can work both independently and in team-based project environments.
• Remaining a minimum of 80% billable with leadership and sales assistance.
