Dynavac, a leader in high‑vacuum process equipment based in Hingham, MA, is seeking a Controls Engineer I to join the Engineering team. You will help design, develop, and implement control systems for vacuum and thin‑film processes, with emphasis on automation, system integration, and hands‑on commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 0–3 years in controls engineering or industrial automation environment.
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, or system integration.
• Exposure to industrial equipment, sensors, instrumentation, or data acquisition systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement control system designs for vacuum and thin-film processes.
• Support project lifecycle from design to testing and commissioning.
• Participate in PLC and HMI/SCADA software development and testing.
• Create and maintain control system documentation and backups.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams.
