Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Controls Engineer for the Oil Free Centrifugal development team. Based in Sidney, OH with some remote work, you will develop embedded logic for compressor controllers and support testing and data analysis.

Requirements include a BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering and at least 3 years in industrial controls, plus PLC/DCS and programming skills in C++ or Python. Travel up to 10% and sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Controls Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial controls, electronics integration or similar.
• Experience with PLC/DCS programming; C++ and Python a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded control logic for compressor controllers.
• Test and validate control software in lab and field settings.
• Document changes in specifications and manuals.
• Support data analysis and testing for product validation.
• Travel to customer sites for on-site support (up to 10%).
