Milwaukee Succeeds in Pleasant Prairie, WI is seeking a Controls Engineer to own PLC-controlled production equipment and drive next-generation automation initiatives on the shop floor.

The role blends controls, manufacturing, and process engineering; you will troubleshoot RSLogix/Studio 5000, support HMIs and sensors, develop standards, and partner with production teams to improve reliability and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in manufacturing/automation engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and RSLogix/Studio 5000.
• Ability to troubleshoot on the production floor and collaborate cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Own and support Allen-Bradley PLC-controlled production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and improve RSLogix/Studio 5000 programs.
• Support HMIs, sensors, vision systems, and automation equipment.
• Develop controls standards, documentation, and programming best practices.
• Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and system performance.
