Job summary

The Global Edge Consultants, LLC is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer – Chillers to lead design, development, integration, and optimization of control systems for centrifugal chillers and Modular Chiller Plant solutions supporting data center applications across North America.

Requires at least 7 years in controls engineering for HVAC or industrial automation, PLC/DDC expertise, and preferred experience with Trane or JCI chillers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in control system design for HVAC or industrial systems.
• Experience with PLC/DDC control systems and system integration.
• Direct experience with Trane or Johnson Controls centrifugal chiller systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize control logic for centrifugal chillers and MCP systems.
• Integrate chiller controls with BMS and DCIM platforms.
• Coordinate with suppliers and engineering teams across regions (US and Japan).
• Support system testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
• Develop technical proposals and support pre/post-award activities.
