P1 Service, LLC., seeks a dynamic Controls Engineer for our Lenexa office to support automation and control projects from submittal to closeout. You will develop control drawings, procure parts, and ensure schedules align with customer commitments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college with a certificate in HVAC, AAS, or BAS, or equivalent and a combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree engineering or related field preferred.
• 2 years HVAC Controls experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop submittal packages and control drawings for building automation projects.
• Procure components and equipment, ensuring on-time delivery.
• Develop and implement control sequences and programming per specs and customer needs.
• Create GUIs and visualizations for clear monitoring and control of building systems.
• Support BMS integration with third-party equipment and devices.
• Assist with troubleshooting, commissioning, and startup activities.
