Job summary
Adecco US, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Controls Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize manufacturing control systems that drive production performance, quality, and safety.
You will troubleshoot automated processes, lead root cause analysis, and push continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires experience with PLCs, Allen-Bradley controls, HMI development, and integration of automation hardware.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer or in a related manufacturing role
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting robotic automation systems
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments (JIT, sequencing, batch, automated assembly)
Responsibilities
- Analyze machine performance and optimize processes using PLC and automation data
- Troubleshoot control systems and lead root cause analysis for recurring issues
- Design and integrate error-proofing and quality verification systems
- Maintain Industrial Ethernet networks and communication systems
- Plan and execute automation and continuous improvement projects
- Support new equipment launches and documentation transfer
- Mentor maintenance technicians to improve troubleshooting skills
- Ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably
