Job summary

ICR Services in Warren, MI is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, program, and support industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and control networks, at in-house and customer sites. The role focuses on programming PLCs (Allen-Bradley and Siemens), developing HMI applications (FactoryTalk View, C-More), creating electrical drawings, and commissioning field devices.

Candidates should have hands-on wiring experience, familiarity with ABB, knowledge of EtherNet/IP

Qualifications

  • Must have PLC experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens.
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics (SolidWorks Electrical preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with field wiring and installations.
  • Familiarity with ABB is preferred.
  • Knowledge of EtherNet/IP and Profinet networks.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, program, and support industrial automation systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and control networks, both in-house and at customer sites.
