Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement advanced control systems for state-of-the-art automation equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include PLC programming, troubleshooting, system testing, and cross-functional collaboration to meet production and quality goals. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
  • 0-5 years of experience in Controls Engineering and Industrial Automation.
  • Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred).
  • Working knowledge of HMI systems.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced control systems to meet production and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project objectives and develop solutions that align with the company's goals.
  • Perform PLC programming and troubleshooting to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and equipment.

  • Provide technical support for production teams, offering expert advice and guidance on control systems.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze system performance, making adjustments and improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure all control systems adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong work ethic and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
