ManpowerGroup (USA) is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, modify and support automated manufacturing equipment and production systems within the Engineering Department of a leading manufacturing organization. The role focuses on PLC programming with Rockwell ControlLogix, HMI development, and integration with plant-wide control networks.

The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving and communication skills and can work proactively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Siemens HMI and industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, Profinet).
• Electrical controls systems and troubleshooting expertise.
• Experience supporting automated assembly, robotics, conveyance, or manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, control drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, modify, and support automated manufacturing equipment and production systems.
• Develop, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC programs using Rockwell Automation ControlLogix and related platforms.
• Develop and support HMI applications and operator interfaces.
• Integrate manufacturing equipment with plant-wide control systems and industrial networks.
• Perform startup, commissioning, debugging, and validation activities on new and modified equipment.

As a Controls Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Manufacturing Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $35-$60Hourly
