Job summary

R&E Automated Systems is seeking an experienced Field Service Controls Engineer to lead automation projects, implement control systems, and troubleshoot PLC/HMI networks at customer sites across North America.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial automation, system integration, and project management, with willingness to travel extensively and work with diverse clients in automotive and non-automotive sectors.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in industrial automation and controls.
  • Proficient in PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens and or others).
  • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively.

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Controls Engineer.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in industrial automation, control systems implementation, and managing automation projects.

  • Train customer personnel on system operation and maintenance
  • Travel to customer sites across North America

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively

Desired Qualification (not required)

  • Ignition / SCADA experience

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and handle equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Capable of standing, bending, and working in various positions for extended periods
  • Comfortable working in manufacturing environments
  • Valid passport for occasional international travel
