Job summary

General Mills recherche un Technicien Contrôles Électriques pour notre site de Buffalo, NY. Vous contribuerez à la maintenance et à l’amélioration des systèmes de contrôle des procédés et d’emballage, incluant Wonderware et PLC, tout en lisant les schémas et en déployant des modifications.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent requis.

• 3–5 années d'expérience en maintenance électrique industrielle, dépannage et réparation.
• Reconnu comme Technicien Contrôles par les standards Buffalo de General Mills.
• Connaissance électrique 480 V et dépannage.
• Programmation PLC, dépannage et instrumentation.
• Expérience avec les plateformes AB PLC, Servo contrôle et systèmes robotiques.
• Capacité à travailler en équipes et communiquer en anglais.

Responsibilities

• Supporter, créer, intégrer, dépanner et améliorer des systèmes de contrôle de procédés/emballage incluant Wonderware et PLC.
• Lire et mettre à jour les schémas électriques et P&ID.
• Fournir un support technique et dépanner les équipements/équipements modifiés.
• Concevoir et agencer les circuits, installer les montages, câbler les conduits et moteurs.
• Réaliser la maintenance électrique préventive et corrective.
• Participer aux initiatives d'amélioration continue pour augmenter les performances de la plateforme.
• Aider les autres zones d'usine selon les besoins.

Employees take pride in the plant’s strong family ties, and notable history includes its former name, Cheeri-Oats, grain transport by boat, and a fire the day before it opened in 1940. **What We Have to Offer*** **$37.87 - $43.75** Starting Pay (Based on level of competency)* $0.34/hour additional shift differential pay (2nd shift)* $0.41/hour additional shift differential pay (3rd shift)* Vacation, sick time, and holidays.* 401(k) with company match* Medical, dental, life insurance* Career growth and cross-training opportunities **Your Work Schedule and Shift Information*** 8-hour shift - shift schedule rotation every 5th week* 1st shift: 7 am to 3 pm* 2nd shift: 3 pm to 11 pm* Every 5th week shift rotation from 1st shift to 1 week on 2nd shift (may be longer, if needed)* Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed* Plant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES****As part of our manufacturing team, you will:*** Supporting, creating, integration, troubleshooting and improving a variety of processing/packaging controls systems including Wonderware, and PLC.* Reading and updating electrical and control schematics, piping and instrumentation diagrams* Providing technical support/skills for troubleshooting equipment and controls/equipment modifications* Design and layout circuits, install fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment/components* Performing both uptime and downtime preventative electrical maintenance* Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance* Assist other plant areas as assigned **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS*** High school diploma or GED* 3-5 years (minimum) of industrial electrical maintenance experience, including machine repair and troubleshooting* Must be recognized as a Controls Technician by General Mills Buffalo Standards* Electronic knowledge with 480v industrial wiring and troubleshooting experience* PLC programming, troubleshooting and instrumentation* Experience with AB PLC platforms; Servo Control Systems; Robotic Controls Systems* Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts* Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs* Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods* Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions* Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms* Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards* Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)* Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*** Manufacturing or production experience* HMI experience, Wonderware or Rockwell Panelview preferred* Experience in a manufacturing/production environment preferred**CONDITIONS D'ADMISSIBILITÉ**Les candidats doivent être âgés d'au moins 18 ans.**EMPLOYEUR GARANTISSANT L'ÉGALITÉ DES CHANCES.
