Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Controls Electrical Installer for the Greenville, WI area. You will install and checkout electrical systems for data centers, healthcare, and manufacturing environments per applicable codes and drawings.

Qualifications

• Formal training in low voltage electrical installation techniques.
• Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings.
• Knowledge of local codes as they apply to controls.
• Ability to work independently and manage installation materials.

Responsibilities

• Installs raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and customer system requirements.
• Mounts and terminates controls equipment as needed.
• Determines and validates final termination points to equipment interfaced with the installed system.
• Checks wiring and terminations of field-installed equipment with test instruments.
• Keeps management informed of job needs, progress and issues.
• Completes paperwork including time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
• Provides feedback to Engineering on changes and keeps as-built drawings current.
• Resolves job site conflicts and escalates concerns to management when needed.
• Communicates with the customer on arrival and before leaving the work site.
• Adheres to Johnson Controls safety programs and policies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Works with \"Prime\" electrical contractors as required. Develops a positive interface with the customer to ensure confidence and satisfaction with the system installation. **How you will do it** * Installs raceways, cables and wiring to meet local or national codes, standards and customer system requirements.
