Job summary

Argus Consulting, Inc. seeks a Staff Controls & Integration Engineer I to design, program, commission, and support industrial automation systems for fueling infrastructure, airports, the U.S. Military, and railroads in Overland Park, KS.

You'll work hands-on with PLC, HMI/SCADA, and networking, collaborating with senior staff from concept to deployment. Expect cross-functional teamwork, ongoing system support, and occasional client-site visits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in controls engineering, automation, or industrial system integration.
• PLC programming experience with major platforms.
• HMI/SCADA experience with major suites.
• Networking knowledge for plant floor automation.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand and implement control systems from design through deployment.
• Develop PLC logic and HMI systems, layout networks, and document work.
• Lead small projects or portions of larger projects.
• Participate in FAT/SAT reviews and acceptance.
• Provide field service and technical support for installed systems.
