Qualifications

B.S. degree in electrical/automation/related field or equivalent experience.
6+ years in controls engineering, automation, or industrial system integration.
Experience with PLC, SCADA/HMI platforms, and industrial networks.

Responsibilities

Lead projects in automation platforms including PLC, HMI, SCADA, historians, and industrial networks.
Collaborate with the Controls Integration Manager and project team to design from concept to commissioning.
Develop project specifications, estimates, change orders, and schedules.
Identify changes by understanding project scope and schedule.
Translate requirements into control configurations and ladder logic.
Design network architectures and robust control strategies.
Provide mentorship to less experienced engineers and team members.
Procure equipment and materials with vendors as needed.
Interface with clients and project managers for updates and guidance.
Conduct system programming, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning at client sites.
Deliver technical support and field service for installed systems.
Review wiring diagrams, schematics, and P&IDs.
Assist with design and layout of electrical control panels and cabinets.
Ensure configurations comply with industry codes, safety and cybersecurity standards.
