Job summary

Qualifications

Are you a Controls / Integration / Automation Engineer ready to take on complex, high-impact projects that keep critical fueling infrastructure running safely and efficiently? Join our Controls & Integration team and help power critical fueling systems for airports, the U.S. Military, and railroads. In this hands-on role, you'll use your experience with electrical and control systems, PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA to design, program, commission, troubleshoot, and support industrial automation systems. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams throughout the full project lifecycle—from concept and installation to deployment and ongoing support.

What You'll Do

• Understanding and working knowledge of field instrumentation and automation platforms including PLC, HMI, SCADA, historians, and industrial networks.
• Collaborate with the senior Controls Integration Staff Engineers, Controls Integration Manager and project team to implement and support control system from design, execution, commissioning and ongoing support.
• Own and lead small projects or portions of larger projects including developing PLC logic and HMI systems, network layout and required documentation.
• Participate in review and acceptance of programming and projects through FAT/SAT's.
• Conduct system programming, integration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning, both in-house and at client sites.
• Deliver technical support and field service for installed control systems and respond to client emergency calls.
• Comply with industry codes, safety standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and apply learned concepts to system implementation.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Electronics & Engineering Technology, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• 3+ years in controls engineering, automation, or industrial system integration.
• PLC programming experience with major platforms (Allen Bradley, GE, Modicon 580/EcoStructure).
• HMI/Scada experience with (Inductive Automation, FactoryTalk, Wonderware).
• Networking knowledge as it pertains to plant floor/field automation control systems.
• Strong computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft office products.
• Database experience is a plus (SQL, DB2 etc).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel for installation and commissioning
