Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a pre-entry level engineer in Wisconsin to join the team that develops Equipment Controls, Building Automation Systems and Smart Building products used to run buildings and manage energy costs. You will work under close direction of experienced engineers to apply and sharpen your development skills.

Ideal candidate pursues a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, can learn quickly, and has MATLAB/Simulink and Excel experience; basic coding skills are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering at an accredited university.
• Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and independently.
• Basic software coding skills required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and set up automated test configurations for assigned test plans.
• Assist development team with troubleshooting defects.
• Work on small projects that aid in development, simulation and emulation of products.
