Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking an Controls Application Engineer to support the AMER DX / CW / EDGE product line. You will ingest AMER requirements into the software layer, generate ETO configurations, and create SOO documentation to align with global baselines.

You will translate regional needs into Kanban initiatives for execution while coordinating with the global Application team. You will work with sales engineering, provide pre- and post-sales technical support, and ensure traceability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–5 years of HVAC controls application engineering experience, preferably in precision cooling/data center environments.
• Experience generating ETO configurations or custom application variants for thermal/HVAC products.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical controls interface for AMER Sales Engineering and customers on PA product applications.
• Respond to pre-sales inquiries regarding controls capabilities, protocols, and custom sequences.
• Support bid/proposal activities with controls content, SOO documentation, and feasibility assessments.
• Provide post-sales application support including commissioning guidance and field issue triage.
• Interface with AMER Service for escalation resolution and feedback loop.
