Job summary

The QualiFind Group is seeking a Field Service Electronics Engineer to support a Danish-based client known for world-class cell counting equipment. You will maintain and service their new automated platform, traveling to biotech and pharma labs to ensure high uptime and customer satisfaction.

This hands-on role requires strong electromechanical knowledge, excellent English, and a proactive approach. Expect extensive travel and a customer-facing, problem-solving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
• 2+ years of field experience with electromechanical equipment or automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of sensors, actuators, firmware interaction, and basic networking.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel domestically (80% of work time).

Responsibilities

• Perform recurrent annual maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair instruments at customer sites (biotech and pharma labs).
• Service electromechanical systems, including firmware updates and component replacement.
• Inspect setups to identify risks and read system logfiles to mitigate downtime.
• Collaborate with R&D and Product Management for field insights and product improvements.
• Act as an ambassador for the company, delivering high customer service and professionalism.
• Document all interventions in the CRM service system.

Field Service Electronics Engineer/Controls Applications Engineer

The QualiFind Group is representing our Danish-based client that produces world class cell counting equipment. We're helping them find the right talent to work on their next-generation technology.

Are you passionate about the intersection between mechanics and electronics and do you want to be part of a company that pushes boundaries in life science instrumentation? We’re looking for an Electronics Engineer to maintain and service their brand-new automated cell counting instrument platform. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where you'll combine your technical expertise with a proactive mindset to ensure high instrument uptime and high customer satisfaction.

We are not considering applicants on an OPT visa.

The position is open to any individuals in the following states: New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Delaware, Virginia, and North Carolina.

Your Role & Responsibilities

As their new Field Service Electronics Engineer, you will:

• Perform recurrent annual maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair their new instruments at customer sites (primarily biotech and pharma labs).


• Service of electromechanical systems, including firmware updates, and component replacement.


• Inspect instruments and setups to identify and mitigate potential risks that could lead to downtime. Read and troubleshoot system generated logfiles.


• Collaborate with R&D and Product Management to provide field insights and contribute to continuous product improvement.


• Act as an ambassador for the company, providing a high level of customer service and technical professionalism.


• Document all interventions in their service system (CRM)

To succeed in this role, you have:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical engineering or a closely related field.


• 2+ years of field experience, ideally with electromechanical laboratory equipment or automation systems.
