Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Controls and Application Engineer to support the Galloup sales team in Michigan. You will deliver technical expertise across the sales and project process, designing control systems, preparing estimates, and creating detailed schematics and panel layouts.

You will select hardware, interface with field devices, program PLCs and HMIs, read P&ID drawings, and communicate with customers and internal partners to drive panel project opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Entry-level engineering experience is acceptable.
• Proficient with CAD and ability to read technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Create estimates from designs, specifications, or verbal communication.
• Design detailed wiring diagrams and panel layouts via AutoCAD.
• Select hardware components and design electrical schematics.
• PLC and HMI programming and project implementation support.
• Read P&ID drawings and customer specifications for product selection.
