Job summary

The Kendall Group, Inc. (Midwest) seeks a Controls and Application Engineer to support the Galloup sales team in Michigan. You will develop control solutions, design wiring diagrams, and prepare detailed panel layouts for projects.

Responsibilities include PLC and HMI programming, reviewing P&ID drawings, selecting hardware, and communicating technical information to customers and internal partners. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and AutoCAD Electrical proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of skills and experience.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar software.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and customer specifications.
• PLC and HMI programming experience or familiarity.

The Controls and Application Engineer supports the Galloup sales team by providing technical expertise throughout the sales and project process. The person in this role will develop solutions, prepare estimates, design control systems, and create detailed schematics and panel layouts. The Controls and Application Engineer will recommend appropriate products and communicate technical information to customers and internal partners.
