Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ progressive accounting experience.
• Prior experience as a controller, accounting manager, senior property accountant, or comparable senior role.
• Demonstrated ability in financial reporting, reconciliations, and managing complex transactions.
• Strong knowledge of property and multi-entity real estate accounting.
• Proficiency with Yardi, MRI, or similar property accounting platforms.
• In-depth understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and financial standards.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting functions related to commercial real estate investments and property operations.
• Maintain precise financial records using Yardi or comparable property accounting software.
• Assist with accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities as needed.
• Support payroll processes through Paychex, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review financial data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards.
