Job summary

The Connor Group is seeking a Not-for-Profit Controller to lead day-to-day accounting for the Kids & Community division in Dayton, Ohio. This role oversees payables, financial reporting, and related accounting functions to support under-resourced kids and community programs.

Qualified candidates bring five years of progressive accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and proficiency with major GL software such as Netsuite, Sage, Intacct, QuickBooks or Yardi.

Qualifications

• Five years or greater progressive accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent in experience.
• Experience with general ledger software for accounting (e.g., Netsuite, Sage, Intacct, QuickBooks, Yardi).
• No experience required in not-for-profit is noted in the ad.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and execute all day-to-day accounting, payables, financial reporting and other key accounting functions.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure reporting is on time.
