Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation is seeking a Controller to lead day-to-day Finance operations reporting to the CFO of KitchenAid. The role directs financial close, planning, SOX compliance, and collaboration with Operations, Materials and HR to ensure financial metrics align with plant commitments.

Responsibilities include monthly close, annual budgeting, cost control, Lean initiatives, and mentoring a team of finance professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
• 7+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly financial close and outlook process, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve predictability.
• Manage annual planning activities and ensure accuracy at the part/SKU level.
• Maintain SOX control documentation and support control owners.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve predictability.
• Lead World Class Manufacturing initiatives and lean improvements.
• Drive cost savings through resource allocation, capital requisition and cost management.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of area responsibilities while promoting inclusion and teamwork.
• Adhere to Whirlpool manufacturing standards and methods.
• Supervise 3 direct reports and 2 indirect reports.
