Job summary

Aramark seeks a Controller to lead accounting operations for Yosemite Hospitality in Fresno, CA. You will oversee financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and close processes, partnering with the Finance and Labor teams.

Reporting to the Regional Finance Director, you will mentor staff, build scalable policies, and ensure accurate data across business units. On-site work required with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience leading day-to-day accounting, financial close, and reporting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA/CMA preferred.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and experience with external audits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• On-site Fresno, CA work required; occasional travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including journal entries and closing processes.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and maintain internal controls.
• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual closes and improve processes.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and audits.
• Support tax filings and client reporting and mentor staff.
• Develop scalable accounting policies and SOPs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Finance and Labor.
