Job summary

Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) is seeking a Controller, Holdings to oversee day-to-day accounting for multiple entities, manage the monthly close, and develop robust financial policies and controls. This is a full-time, exempt role based in Denver, CO.

The ideal candidate has 8–12 years in corporate accounting with 3 years of direct leadership, a Bachelor's in Accounting (CPA or MBA preferred), and strong Excel/Great Plains skills.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years’ experience in corporate accounting with 3 years managing direct reports.
• CPA or MBA preferred; CPA certification pursued encouraged.
• Experience with Great Plains and advanced Excel/Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for all entities and monthly close.
• Lead annual budget process and quarterly reforecasts with department heads and senior management.
• Oversee intercompany activity and consolidated reporting.
• Communicate findings and corrective actions to staff and management.
• Supervise, train and develop accounting staff.
