Job summary

Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is partnering with a growing healthcare organization to hire a Controller in Houston, TX. This leadership role oversees accounting across 30+ entities, drives month-end close, treasury operations, and process improvements in a complex multi-entity environment.

You will report to executive leadership, own financial reporting, and help scale infrastructure as the company expands to new facilities, while benefiting from a strong medical plan and hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 8+ years of Controller experience in a multi-entity environment (no step-ups).
• Strong expertise in intercompany transactions and treasury operations.
• Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems.
• Proven track record of stability and tenure in prior roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and financial reporting across 30+ entities.
• Manage treasury operations including intercompany transactions and banking structures.
• Oversee general ledger activity, reconciliations, and accuracy of financial statements.
• Identify and implement process improvements across accounting and finance functions.
• Provide hands-on support to alleviate back-office workload and improve efficiency.

Salary: $115,000–$140,000 base
