Job summary

Veo is seeking an Associate Controller to lead the accounting function, oversee the close processes, and strengthen financial reporting. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with FP&A, Tax, IT, and operations to scale processes for a fast-growing, mobility-focused company.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of accounting leadership, deep US GAAP expertise, and hands-on experience with NetSuite and modern finance tools.

Qualifications

10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership in a high-growth environment.
Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, technical accounting research, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit readiness.
Experience leading accounting organizations, driving transformations, managing external audits, and implementing scalable finance systems.

Responsibilities

Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with GAAP-compliant reporting.
Oversee monthly financial statements, reporting packages, reconciliations, and FP&A collaboration.
Research, document, and implement accounting guidance on equity, leases, software capitalization, and foreign operations.
Design and improve accounting policies, controls, and audit-readiness processes.
Lead systems improvements, automation, and process optimization for scalability.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory reporting.
Partner with Finance, Operations, Legal, HR, IT, and leadership to strengthen financial discipline.
Mentor and develop the accounting team.
