This Atlanta-based role is a high-impact leadership position that emphasizes building processes, improving systems, and partnering with executive leadership while remaining engaged in day-to-day accounting operations. Mostly remote, then hybrid in Buckhead.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and controllership experience.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in multi-entity reporting.
• Proven ability to lead audits, financial reporting, tax coordination, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reporting, reconciliations, accruals, allocations, intercompany transactions, and cash management.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, and relationships with external advisors and service providers.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, variance analyses, and executive-level reporting.
• Enhance accounting policies, internal controls, operational processes, and financial systems.
• Manage and mentor accounting staff while maintaining a hands-on approach.
