Market Search Manager at Ledgent Search Group

Well known, financial services organization located near the South Bay is looking for a Controller on a contract‑to‑hire basis. Reporting to the CFO, the Controller will drive the enhancement of policies and procedures. Responsibilities for the Controller include ensuring efficient procedures and accounting systems, maintaining constant financial standing, and reviewing and overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes. The Controller will also manage cash flow and financial reporting, prepare fiscal budgets and forecasts, handle internal and external audits, as well as G/L management. The Controller will also manage regulatory reporting and all corporate and government filings.

Base pay range

$75.00/hr - $80.00/hr

Qualifications

• Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• At least eight years of corporate accounting and finance experience, with at least four in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience with a financial services institution (i.e., bank, credit union, insurance, investment management, etc.) or real estate company is required.
• CPA and/or MBA is preferred.
• Must have strong systems skills.
• Must have a proven track record of mentoring, developing, and training staff members is essential.
• Pay, $75 - 80/hr, $150 - 180k upon hire.
