Job summary

CFS in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Controller to oversee full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and annual audit coordination. You will lead ERP selection, implementation, and ongoing system optimization, while managing equipment accounting, depreciation, and cost allocation.

Lead month-end close and ensure financial statement accuracy, partnering with leadership on process improvements and operational insights.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of hands-on accounting experience with financial statement ownership.
• ERP implementation or major system transition experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent construction accounting experience).
• Exposure to construction accounting (WIP, POC, retainage) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and annual audit coordination.
• Controller will lead ERP selection, implementation, and ongoing system optimization.
• Manage equipment accounting, depreciation, and cost allocation.
• Own month-end close process and financial statement accuracy.
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and operational insights.
