Creative Financial Staffing, LLC is seeking a Controller (CPA) to lead all accounting functions for a growing mid-sized company. You will report to the CFO, partner with executive leadership, and drive financial strategy and reporting accuracy.

The role emphasizes hands-on management, strengthening internal controls, and mentoring a skilled accounting team in a on-site environment, with a focus on strategic growth and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Active CPA is required.
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including hands-on Controller experience in a mid-sized company.
• Proven ability to lead teams and operate both strategically and tactically in an on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle accounting, including financial close, reporting, and overall accounting operations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering accountability and collaboration.
• Partner with the CFO on financial strategy, process improvements, and key initiatives.
• Strengthen internal controls, systems, and reporting accuracy to support business growth.
• Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership.

Salary: $190,000 – $205,000 base + bonus + profit sharing
