Quality 1 Energy Systems Inc in Dallas is seeking a hands-on Controller / CFO to lead the financial operations of a growing HVAC and mechanical contracting company. You’ll partner with ownership to improve cash flow, profitability, financial reporting, and operational performance across three business units: Design-Build construction, and Commercial & Residential service.

The ideal candidate has construction finance, job costing, and cash flow management experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction finance, job costing, and cash flow management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus.
• Experience in accounting leadership or supervisory role in a small to mid-sized business.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel; familiarity with ERP systems is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Oversee construction accounting, including WIP, AIA billing, and job costing.
• Manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Partner with ownership and department leads to drive profitability and operational performance across three business units.
• Develop scalable processes and ensure timely month-end close and reconciliations.
