This hybrid role partners with plant leadership to improve financial performance, strengthen controls, and support strategic decisions. The position requires 10+ years in accounting/finance, CPA or CMA preferred, and strong GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• CPA or CMA preferred.
• Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing financial operations.
• Sage ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, and business-partnering skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Manage cost accounting, standard costs, inventory, and manufacturing variances.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Analyze margins, labor, overhead, and other operational performance.
• Partner with operations on cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain strong internal controls and GAAP compliance.
• Support ERP optimization, reporting improvements, and process automation.

Requirements

• Strong cost and inventory accounting experience
• Knowledge of GAAP and manufacturing financial operations
• Sage or similar ERP experience and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical, communication, and business-partnering skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
