Kforce's client, a growing life sciences organization in Burlington, MA, is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, FP&A, and ERP enablement.

This on-site, full-time role offers high visibility and requires a self-starter who can own multiple finance areas as the right hand to CFO/Controller. Strong accounting background and life sciences experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 5-10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong general-ledger and full-cycle close experience
• Prior Life Sciences, Pharma or Biotech industry client base strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel and strong U.S. GAAP knowledge
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly and quarterly close activities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and consolidated financial statements
• Support tax provisions, compliance, audits, and external advisors
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and variance analysis

This full‑time on‑site role is a high‑visibility opportunity for a self‑starter who thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable taking ownership across multiple areas of Finance as right hand to CFO/ Controller. Client offers excellent compensation and benefits.

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
