Connect Search is seeking a Controller in the Lewisville/Coppell area of Texas to lead the growing accounting function. The role includes overseeing the accounting team, month-end close, and external audits, with a focus on accuracy and timely reporting.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule, equity participation, and a compensation package of $145,000–$155,000 plus a 15% bonus. CPA preferred, with 7+ years of accounting and 3+ years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; MBA/MS in Accounting preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• 7+ years accounting experience with 3+ years in management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the accounting team, including hiring and performance management.
• Own general ledgers, month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Lead the annual financial statement audit.
• Oversee intercompany accounting and global cash management initiatives.
• Partner with leaders on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc reporting.
• Drive process improvements to automate and streamline accounting functions.
• Support monthly reporting to executives and the Board.
• Oversee treasury activities including banking and borrowings.

Connect Search is seeking a Controller for a growing company in the Lewisville/Coppell area. This company has experienced significant growth driven by the recent boom in data centers and is projecting to double in size over the next few years. They’re looking for a Controller who can help support that growth and continue building out the accounting function.

This position pays $145K-155K + 15% bonus + equity and offers a Hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting team, including hiring, performance management, financial reporting, and collaboration with AP and Credit teams
• Own the general ledgers, ensuring accurate financial reporting, account reconciliations, journal entries, and timely month end close
• Lead the annual financial statement audit
• Manage intercompany accounting and transactions, ensuring entities remain reconciled and supporting broader global intercompany and cash management initiatives
• Partner with business and functional leaders on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting to support business decisions
• Drive continuous improvement across Finance by identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and strengthen accounting and financial processes
• Support financial reporting for executive leadership and the Board, including monthly reporting packages, quarterly updates, financial schedules, and business analysis
• Oversee key treasury activities, including banking administration, borrowings, interest payments, cash management, bank reporting, and coordination with banking partners

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s degree in Accounting is a plus
