This is a tremendous opportunity for a senior professional to grow with a dynamic organization. The Controller will work closely with the CFO by performing and coordinating a variety of financial functions within the organization. These functions include financial analytics, financial reporting, forecast and budget preparation. The ideal candidate must have successfully managed an accounting department and possess solid communication, technical, and management skills. A growth mindset and the willingness to learn from the ground up are also essential.

Responsibilities
  • Manages comprehensive daily accounting operations, encompassing Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), Billing, and General Ledger (G/L), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conducts in‑depth financial analyses (e.g., variance, trend, and profitability analysis) and generates timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to inform strategic business decisions by senior management.
  • Prepare budget and financial forecasts, along with reporting variances.
  • Maintains and meticulously manages the daily cash flow spreadsheet, utilizing forecasting techniques to optimize working capital and ensure sufficient liquidity for ongoing operations.
  • Spearheads the efficient execution of the month‑end and year‑end close processes, reconciling complex accounts and ensuring adherence to strict deadlines for financial reporting.
  • Oversees and manages the company's multi‑financial system integration, ensuring seamless and accurate data flow into the primary accounting platform, QuickBooks, thereby maintaining a unified financial record.
  • Ensure quality control over all company financials.
Qualifications
  • Educational Foundation: Possesses a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from an accredited institution in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related business field. (A relevant advanced degree or CPA designation is highly desirable).
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrates a profound and comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), along with proven expertise in applying these principles to complex financial reporting and transaction management.
  • Platform Expertise: Requires extensive, detailed, and hands‑on experience utilizing enterprise‑level accounting software, specifically with QuickBooks Enterprise, or a comparable ERP/financial management system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
