Job summary

Orion Placement seeks a senior accounting leader in Indianapolis for a hybrid role, reporting to the CFO, overseeing all accounting operations across a multi-site organization.

Responsibilities include general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, month-end close, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, audits, ERP enhancements, and collaboration with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP systems experience.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Sisense, Qlik, or similar reporting tools.

• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Drive ERP enhancements, financial reporting improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Support treasury, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team while improving processes and efficiencies.
