Job summary

Confidential Employer, Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a senior accounting leader to oversee all accounting operations and drive financial strategy in a hybrid work model. You will manage the close process, internal controls, and multi-site reporting, partnering with executives on budgets, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

You will lead audits, optimize ERP and reporting, and mentor a high-performing team to deliver value across operations and finance functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
• 3+ years of public accounting experience.
• Experience in multi-site manufacturing or supply chain environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting operations including general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and month-end close.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
• Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Lead annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Drive ERP enhancements, financial reporting improvements, and automation initiatives.
• Support treasury, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting activities.
• Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team while improving processes and efficiencies.

Pay: $240,000.00 - $295,000.00 per year
