Job summary

Inceed has partnered with a growing Tulsa company to recruit a hands-on Controller who can strengthen processes and guide the finance function through an ERP transition to NetSuite. This onsite leadership role offers the opportunity to shape financial operations during a period of growth and change.

The ideal candidate will oversee daily accounting, lead close cycles, ensure GAAP compliance, and mentor the accounting team while partnering with leadership on budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with audits and external auditors.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivots and VLOOKUPs.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare accurate internal financial statements and reporting.
• Reconcile bank accounts and line of credit accounts daily.
• Strengthen internal controls and support compliance efforts.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting.
• Support audits and coordinate with external advisors.
• Improve accounting policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members.
• Analyze financial data to support business decisions.

Compensation: $110,000 - $135,000 annually, depending on experience

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting leader who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys building structure as a company continues to grow. The ideal candidate will step in, strengthen processes, and help guide the finance function through an exciting period of change, including a transition to a new ERP system.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
• Prepare accurate internal financial statements and reporting
