Refloor, America's fastest-growing flooring company, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting, inventory management, and internal controls under the CFO. This hands‑on role demands strong leadership and technical accounting expertise.

You will oversee the close, financial reporting, payroll, taxation, and budgeting across multiple warehouses, drive cash flow models, KPI reporting, and ensure regulatory compliance while guiding a talented finance team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • 7+ years accounting and managerial experience.
  • 3+ years inventory management experience.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll compliance.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead GAAP-compliant monthly close and financial reporting.
  • Manage accounting/payroll team and internal controls.
  • Oversee accounts payable, receivables, cash control, and tax compliance.
  • Oversee inventory management across multiple warehouses.
  • Support budgeting, cash flow modelling and KPI reporting.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and participate in special projects.

Ourbusiness israpidlygrowing andneeds an experienced Controller to help with the continued development of financial systems,inventory management, and internalcontrols.

Job Description:

TheControllerwillreport directly to the Chief Financial Officer.Working closely withthe Chief Financial Officer,they will provideleadership and direction in the areas of accounting, corporate reporting,inventory management,risk compliance,financeand treasury.This is a hands-on position which requires both leadership skillsas well asstrong technical accounting skills. The Controller will manage all finance and accounting activities to provide information, both financial and non-financial, to key stakeholders both in and outsideofthe organization.

Detailed responsibilities include:
  • Perform all activities needed to complete aGAAP complianttimelyclose.
  • Complete allrequired financial reporting.
  • Lead and develop the existing accounting/payrollteam.
  • Ensuring theaccurateandtimelyprocessing of accounts payables, expense reports, accounts receivables, cash control, payrollprocessingand applicable tax compliance.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of inventoryat multiple warehouses.
  • Assistin developing cash flow models and all related treasury functions.
  • Work withtheCFO and relevant teams to complete annual budgets.
  • Help increatingand reporting of companywide KPI’s.
  • Participatein special projects.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, workproceduresand instructions.

Education and Technical Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accountingor finance
  • CPA certification
  • Minimum of three yearspreviousexperience with inventory management
  • Minimum of sevenyears of hands-on accounting and managerial experience
  • Previousexperience withmulti-statepayroll processing and compliance
  • Proventrack recordin leadership
  • Advanced Excel skills
