Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations including general ledger, financial reporting, revenue recognition, cost accounting, and consolidations.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting.
• Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives, acquisitions, operational performance, and financial strategy.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable government contracting requirements.
• Lead internal and external audit activities.
• Strengthen internal control environment and support public-company readiness.
• Oversee cost accounting and project accounting.
• Oversee financial consolidation across multiple entities.
• Improve close timelines, reporting capabilities, and data consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, revenue recognition, cost accounting, and consolidations.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting.
• Partner with executive leadership on growth initiatives, acquisitions, operational performance, and financial strategy.
• Maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP and applicable government contracting requirements.

• Strengthen the organization's internal control environment and support increased public-company readiness.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on experience within a smaller or high-growth environment strongly preferred.
• Aerospace & defense, government contracting, or complex manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and technical accounting.
• Significant cost accounting experience within a manufacturing or project-based environment.
• Experience with multi-entity and multi-site financial consolidations.
• Exposure to SOX/internal controls and public-company reporting environments highly valued.
