Job summary

Nbutexas is seeking an experienced Hotel/Resort Controller to join our leadership team in New York. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, forecasting, and the development of the accounting team.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage month-end close, prepare financial statements, coordinate audits, and mentor staff while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Experience with hotel systems such as Opera, POS, and Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
