A growing services firm is seeking a Controller to lead core accounting functions and oversee financial performance across projects. This role drives accurate reporting, system optimization, and visibility into profitability while supporting ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead close processes, financial reporting, and GAAP adherence
• Oversee project accounting, including revenue recognition, WIP, and margin analysis
• Manage financial systems and reporting to support project-level insights
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Supervise billing, AR/AP, and cash flow activities
• Maintain strong internal controls and support audit processes
• Assist with system integration efforts tied to growth initiatives
• Develop and guide accounting team members

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or advanced degree preferred)
• Experience in project-based or professional services environments
• Familiarity with ERP systems; Deltek experience strongly preferred
