Job summary

CFS, a well-established manufacturing organization, is seeking a Controller to lead all accounting and financial reporting. In this highly visible role you will partner with executive leadership and influence key business decisions while guiding a modern finance function.

You’ll manage month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, internal controls, and KPIs, mentoring staff and collaborating with operations to improve profitability. Hybrid flexibility after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, Plant Controller, or Finance Manager.
• Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, standard costing, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities for the organization.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning activities.
• Partner with operations leadership to analyze performance, improve profitability, and support strategic initiatives.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger functions.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and accounting procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and KPIs for executive leadership.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff while driving process improvements throughout the finance department.

What We're Looking For
