Job summary

Accounting Career Consultants in Missouri is seeking a Controller to support a rapid growth trajectory, overseeing the full accounting cycle and ensuring accurate financial reporting.

This role aligns finance leadership with long-term value creation in a 100% ESOP-owned environment, with plans to grow revenue from $50M to $95M and headcount from 220 to 550 by 2030.

The ideal candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting, audits, and process improvements using Deltek Vantage to scale operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading accounting teams and close processes.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to manage budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Experience coordinating external audits.
• Proficiency with ERP/finance systems (Deltek Vantage).

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations: manage the full accounting cycle, month-end close, GL maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Lead financial reporting: prepare and analyze statutory and management reports to support decisions.
• Manage budgeting and forecasting: drive budget vs actual analysis and strategic planning.
• Coordinate audit and compliance: ensure adherence to standards and lead external audits.
• Optimize systems and processes: leverage Deltek Vantage to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
